Christina Clarke

Highly motivated engineer with 15 years of professional experience. Strong educational background with Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Process Safety and Loss Prevention. Experienced in the oil and gas industry, providing support to the Deep Panuke project offshore Nova Scotia through construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning. Working in this high-risk environment required regular focus on hazards associated with pressurized systems, sour gas, and complex processes. Founded Coastal Process Safety in 2021 and provide a wide range of process safety services across multiple sectors. Key services include process hazard analysis, auditing, consequence analysis, Life & Fire Safety (LFS), NFPA review and process safety management. Process safety skills are complimented by broad experience in various engineering disciplines. Positions have been held in project engineering, quality assurance, emissions reporting, production, and reservoir modeling. Stephen has extensive local, regional and international marine sector expertise in marine scientific studies, R&D, construction projects and offshore oil & gas seismic exploration, drilling and production. He has led Environmental Assessments, HSE studies, coastal developments, fisheries stakeholder consultation, E&P drilling, spill contingency planning, commissioning of offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, cables and processing facilities. His role has involved working closely with operators, contractors, regulatory authorities, international banks and academic institutions to ensure conformance and compliance with organizational, regulatory and often, monetary HSE requirements.
